# Researching Buyers

> A guide to every Starbridge tool for buyer research — Buyer Pages, Ask Starbridge, the Chrome extension, MCP, and the fastest way to use them together.

## Where to start

Most research starts in one of three ways, depending on what you're doing:

    Search for the account in Starbridge and open its [**Buyer Page**](/consumers/buyer-page). The Summary tab gives you a briefing in seconds, and every other tab is a click away.

    When you just need one answer — "Do they use a competitor?", "Who's the decision-maker?", "What should I lead with?" — use [Ask Starbridge](/consumers/ask-starbridge-chat) in Slack, in a Buyer Page, or in Starbridge.

## The Buyer Page: your research hub

The Buyer Page brings together everything Starbridge knows about an account in one place. Open it from a buyer search, your Feed, a Bridge, or any signal to quickly understand who the buyer is, what's happening there, and how to engage them.

## Ask Starbridge: research in chat

[Ask Starbridge](/consumers/ask-starbridge-chat) lets you research any public sector buyer in plain language. Ask questions about accounts, contacts, competitors, procurement, or active projects, and get instant answers grounded in Starbridge data and web research.

## Chrome extension: research while you browse

The [Starbridge Chrome extension](/research/chrome-extension) brings buyer intelligence directly into your browser. When you're viewing a buyer's website or LinkedIn page, it automatically surfaces account context, contacts, signals, and research tools without leaving your workflow.
