Screenshot 2026 09 03 At 2 13 58 PM A Bridge-based sequence enrolls recipients from every signal in its Bridge. Until now, reaching only a subset meant building a second Bridge with a narrower search scope — separate Bridges for promotions and new hires, or one per state, or one for hot signals and one for warm. You can now filter a sequence to a subset of its source Bridge’s signals, using the same columns you already filter the Bridge by. That opens up two workflows:
  1. Targeting. Build a broad Bridge, then narrow it down — add an enrichment column that scores or classifies each signal, and filter the sequence to just the ones worth sending to.
  2. Segmentation. Segment one Bridge across several sequences, each filtered to its own slice, each with copy written for that slice. Accounts in the Northeast get messaging specific to their region, accounts in the South get their own, and one Bridge feeds both. Or: meetings scoring 3–4 get auto-enrolled in a sequence, and meetings scoring 5 are left out of it, reserved for reps to work directly.

What builders can do now

Filter on the Bridge’s own columns. In the step where you pick your source Bridge, use Filter by signal and select Add filter to narrow the Bridge down to the specific signals you want to outbound. The columns and operators come from your source Bridge, so anything you can filter the Bridge by, you can filter the sequence by. Add the filter you’re missing. If the data you want to filter on isn’t on the Bridge yet, add an enrichment column to the source Bridge — it becomes available as a sequence filter once it’s there. Change your mind after the sequence is running. Pause the sequence, open its Settings tab, and edit the filters there.

Get started

Filters are live now for anyone building a Bridge-based sequence. Create a new sequence, pick your source Bridge, and use Filter by signal — or add filters to a sequence you’ve already built. Full walkthrough: Bridge-based sequences. Reach out to your GTME or support@starbridge.ai with questions.
