Overview

The Usage Dashboard shows how your team is using Starbridge: who’s active, how many signals are being reviewed and acted on, how much work runs through Ask Starbridge and the Starbridge MCP, and how each user contributes. Everything is filterable by date range and exportable as CSV.
The dashboard is only visible to Admins.

Accessing the dashboard

Go to Usage Dashboard in the left navigation.

Summary tiles

At the top of the dashboard, the signals bar shows how many signals your team reviewed and how many of those they actioned. Below it, four tiles show team-wide totals for the selected date range, each with the percent change from the previous period of the same length:
  • Active users: the number of unique users who visited any page or sent a message to Ask Starbridge via Starbridge or Slack in the period
  • Signals actioned: signals any user marked as Actioned, Starred, Not interested, or Needs action; deduplicated by signal across users
  • Chat sessions: chat sessions any user started with Ask Starbridge in the product, in Slack, or in the Chrome extension. A new session starts each time a user opens a new chat or clicks New chat.
  • MCP tool calls: tool calls your team’s AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or any other MCP client) made to Starbridge through the Starbridge MCP
Signals reviewed in the bar counts signals any user opened or applied any status to (Actioned, Starred, Not interested, Needs action), deduplicated by signal across users. Chat questions asked is no longer a tile. You’ll still find it per user in the Team Activity table and as a team total in the summary CSV.
What counts as an MCP tool call. Each time a user’s AI tool reads or changes something in Starbridge through the MCP, such as searching buyers, reading a bridge, or enriching a contact, that’s one tool call. A single prompt often triggers several tool calls, so read this number as the volume of work your team runs through Starbridge from their AI tool, not the number of prompts they typed. Only successful calls through the MCP connector your users sign in to count. Calls made with an API key, Ask Starbridge’s own lookups, and the automatic status checks the MCP makes while it waits on a long-running job (like a new bridge finishing setup) are not counted.
Use the date range picker in the top left to switch between Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 3 months, or Last 6 months. All summary tiles update to reflect the selected period.

You will see more date range options over time, as your team accumulates activity data.

Team activity table

The Team Activity table shows one row per user and includes:
  • User: the user’s full name, with tags for their assigned teams and role (Consumer, Builder, or Admin)
  • Last active: the date the user was last active in Starbridge; always current and not affected by the date range filter
  • Activity: a day-by-day view of the past 7 days showing which days the user was active, with a total count (0–7); only visible when Last 7 days is selected. Hover over a day to see that day’s signals reviewed, signals actioned, chat sessions, chat questions asked, and MCP tool calls.
  • Total sessions: total sessions in the selected date range; a session is defined as any signal metric produced within a 60-minute window
  • Signals reviewed: signals this user opened or applied any status to (Actioned, Starred, Not interested, Needs action) in the selected date range
  • Signals actioned: signals this user marked as Actioned, Starred, Not interested, or Needs action in the selected date range
  • MCP tool calls: tool calls this user’s AI tool made to Starbridge through the Starbridge MCP in the selected date range
  • Chat sessions: unique chat sessions this user started with Ask Starbridge. Each time a user starts a new chat or clicks New chat, a new session begins.
  • Chat questions asked: questions this user sent to Ask Starbridge, from any tab or surface in the product, the Chrome extension, and Slack, if the Slack integration is installed for your organization
The table defaults to alphabetical order by first name (A–Z). Sort by MCP tool calls to see who leans on Starbridge most from their AI tool. Sort it ascending, or filter by Team and Role, to find who isn’t using the MCP yet and may need help connecting it.

Sorting

Click any column header to sort by that column. Activating a new sort clears any existing sort. Click the same header again to reverse the direction.

Filtering

Use the Team and Role dropdowns above the table to filter the list to specific segments. Both filters support multi-select.

Searching

Use the search field to find a specific user by name. The search is case-insensitive and hides rows that don’t match.

Exporting data

Click Download CSV to download two files:
  • Summary file: team-wide totals for active users, signals reviewed, signals actioned, chat sessions, chat questions asked, and MCP tool calls, each with its change from the previous period
  • Team activity file: the full per-user table with all columns. MCP tool calls appear in the mcp_tool_invocations column.

Ask about usage from your AI tool

If you’ve connected the Starbridge MCP, you can pull the same numbers without opening the dashboard. Ask questions like:
  • “How many MCP tool calls did my team make in the last 30 days?”
  • “Who are my top Starbridge MCP users this month?”
  • “Who on my team hasn’t used the Starbridge MCP in the last 7 days?”
The MCP returns the same metrics and filters as the dashboard, so this works well for a recurring morning report on team adoption. You need the same access to ask as you do to open the dashboard.

A note on historical data

Analytics tracking begins when the dashboard goes live. Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 3 months, and Last 6 months will become available as your team accumulates usage history over time. MCP tool calls are counted from October 28, 2026, so a date range that reaches back further only includes calls made since then, and the percent change will read flat until a full previous period of MCP data exists.
