For Claude, we recommend installing the Starbridge plugin. The plugin bundles the full set of Starbridge skills alongside the MCP itself, so Claude has everything it needs to leverage Starbridge to its fullest.
1
Add the Starbridge plugin marketplace
In Claude, go to Customize → Plugins. In the Personal plugins section, click +, choose Add marketplace, then Add from a repository, and enter the Starbridge plugin repository:
2
Install the Starbridge plugin
Click Browse plugins, find Starbridge, and click Install.
3
Connect the Starbridge MCP
After installing the plugin, click Manage, navigate to the Connectors section, and connect the Starbridge MCP connector. You’ll authenticate into your Starbridge account with the same credentials you use for the Starbridge web app.
If installing the plugin isn’t feasible, you can install the MCP independently. Go to Customize → Connectors, add the connector URL below as a custom connector, and authorize with your Starbridge credentials:
What’s supported
Everything you need to bring Starbridge into your agents:- Bridges — pull rows and data from every bridge in your workspace.
- Feed — pull your Starbridge feed, automatically tailored to your territory if one is set, and set the status of feed signals (Actioned, Starred, and more) right from your AI environment.
- Buyer signals & summary — pull recent signals for any buyer alongside their summary. Ideal for pre-call research.
- Buyer contacts — pull verified contacts at a buyer directly from Starbridge.
- Deep buyer research — run one-off research across meetings, purchases, and RFPs that Starbridge has — even outside your existing bridges.
The feed isn’t just read-only through the MCP: you can both see the signals in your feed and set their status (Actioned, Starred, and more), enabling an end-to-end feed workflow — from reviewing signals to acting on them — without leaving your AI environment.
Contacts and credits
Starbridge offers verified contacts with emails and phones. The MCP surfaces these verified contacts directly in your AI environment. Contacts in the MCP work on a simple locked/unlocked model:- A contact is unlocked if your organization has previously enriched it — whether through a bridge or in a previous MCP session. Unlocked contacts are fully accessible through the MCP at no additional credit cost.
- A contact is locked if your organization hasn’t enriched it yet. Locked contacts are visible in search results with their title and buyer, but name, email, and phone are not revealed until the contact is enriched. Enriching a locked contact costs 2 credits and makes the full contact details available.
Enriching contacts in the MCP
When you search for contacts through the MCP, any previously enriched contacts are returned immediately. For locked contacts, your AI assistant will show what contacts are available and offer to unlock and enrich them before surfacing the full details. You can unlock contacts one at a time or in bulk. For large requests (more than 20 contacts at once), your AI assistant will always check in to confirm the bulk action. If you have a personal credit limit set by your admin, you’ll see that context surfaced alongside the enrichment option. Your admin can raise this credit limit at any time.Other ways to enrich contacts
Contacts can also be enriched by running a Contacts Bridge, Job Changes Bridge, or Enrich Contact column in a Bridge. Any contact your organization has already enriched through a bridge will appear as unlocked in the MCP, and any contact your organization has already enriched in the MCP can be surfaced in a bridge at no additional credit cost. Learn more about credits in How Do Credits Work?.Not yet supported
The following are on the roadmap but not yet available:- Creating or editing bridges. Aside from setting feed signal status, the MCP is read-only today — bridges should be created and edited inside the Starbridge app.
- Territory- or TAM-wide analysis without a bridge. MCP analysis is scoped to a single buyer or small set. For full territory or TAM breadth, build a bridge in Starbridge first, then consume it via the MCP.
