Overview

A skill is a set of written instructions that tells your AI assistant how to do a specific task, such as which tools to call, what to look for, and how to format the result. Pair a skill with the Starbridge MCP and your assistant can run a repeatable workflow on live Starbridge data with a single prompt. Each skill on this page is ready to copy and paste. Add it once, and your assistant picks it up whenever you ask for that task.
Every skill here needs the Starbridge MCP connected first. If you haven’t set it up yet, start with MCP Overview and Installation.

Available skills

Daily meeting prep

Every weekday morning, get a prep brief for each customer or prospect call on your calendar, delivered to your chat, inbox, or Slack.

Daily feed digest

Every weekday morning, post your top new Feed signals to a Slack channel or DM, grouped by urgency with a next step for anything urgent.

How to add a skill

Copy the skill’s text from its section below, then add it to your AI tool.
1

Open skills

In Claude, go to Customize → Skills.
2

Create a new skill

Click +, choose Create skill, and paste the skill text you copied.
3

Turn it on

Make sure the skill is toggled on, and that the Starbridge connector is connected under Customize → Connectors.
To run a daily skill like meeting prep or the feed digest automatically, ask Claude to schedule it every weekday morning. Scheduled tasks are available on paid Claude plans and run in the cloud, so your computer doesn’t need to be on. On Team and Enterprise plans, your Claude admin may need to turn this on first.
You can edit any skill after you add it. For example, change the report structure, add your team’s qualification fields, or remove sections you don’t use.

Daily meeting prep

Who: AEs, BDRs, account managers, and anyone who runs customer or prospect calls. Every weekday at 7am, meeting prep sends you a brief for each customer or prospect call on your calendar that day. It arrives in your chat, your inbox, or a Slack DM, so you start the day knowing what to cover on every call. Each brief is grounded in live Starbridge buyer data and your CRM, and takes about three minutes to read. You set the schedule up once. After that, the report runs on its own every weekday morning. You can also run it any time for today’s calls or a single meeting.

What it does

  1. Runs every weekday morning. The first time you use the skill, it offers to schedule itself for 7am Monday through Friday in your time zone, and asks where to send the report: chat, email to you, or a Slack DM to you.
  2. Finds today’s customer meetings. Reads your calendar, skips internal meetings, holds, and declined events, and matches external attendees to a Starbridge buyer by email domain or organization name.
  3. Gathers buyer data. Pulls the buyer summary, Signal Score, Fit Score, recent signals from the last 90 days, open RFPs, expiring contracts, competitor presence, your team’s Starbridge activity, and contacts at the buyer. If you’ve connected a CRM, call recorder, or email, it also pulls open opportunities, recent call transcripts, and recent email threads.
  4. Writes the brief. Each meeting gets deal context, a buyer summary, fit, recent activity, the last conversation, open threads, procurement timing, key contacts, suggested talking points, watch-outs, and anything it couldn’t find.
  5. Delivers it to you. The report goes only to you, never to buyers or meeting attendees. If your chosen destination isn’t available that morning, the report lands in the chat with a note on why.
The daily schedule needs an AI tool that supports scheduled tasks. In Claude, they’re available on paid plans and run in the cloud, so your computer doesn’t need to be on. If your tool doesn’t support them, the skill tells you, and you can run it each morning with “Run my meeting prep.”

What it needs

Optional connections add detail when they’re there. If one isn’t connected, the brief simply leaves out the sections that depend on it, so you won’t see empty placeholders. Without a calendar connected, you can still prep for a single meeting by naming the buyer.
Meeting prep never unlocks contacts on its own. Locked contacts show by title only, marked “available to unlock,” and the assistant offers to enrich them when you read the report. Unlocking costs 2 credits per contact. See Contacts and credits.

Try it

Once the skill is added, set up your daily report:
“Set up meeting prep to run every weekday at 7am and email it to me.”
Or run it on demand:
“Run my meeting prep.”
“Prep me for my 2pm with Austin ISD.”

Daily feed digest

Who: Sales leaders and RevOps posting to a team channel, or anyone who wants their Feed in a Slack DM. Every weekday at 7am, the feed digest posts the top new signals from your Starbridge Feed to a Slack channel or a DM to you. Signals are grouped by urgency (Act today, This week, Monitor), and each urgent signal comes with a suggested next step. Your team sees what’s new in Starbridge each morning without anyone having to open it or remember to ask. You set the schedule up once. After that, the digest posts on its own every weekday morning. You can also run it any time for today’s top signals.
Daily feed digest in Slack

Illustrative example. A real digest lists up to 3 signals per group, links each buyer to the signal in Starbridge, and adds a next step under each Act today signal.

What it does

  1. Runs every weekday morning. The first time you use the skill, it offers to schedule itself for 7am Monday through Friday in your time zone, and asks whether to post to a channel or a DM to you. Before scheduling, it shows you a preview in the chat so you can check the format.
  2. Pulls new signals from your Feed. It only includes signals that came in since the last digest (since yesterday morning, or since Friday on Mondays), so nothing gets posted twice. The same signal from two Bridges counts once.
  3. Groups them by urgency.
    • Act today: time-bound and close, such as an open RFP with a near due date, funding just approved, or a board vote this week.
    • This week: worth reaching out about soon, such as a new initiative, a leadership change, or a budget approval.
    • Monitor: worth tracking but not acting on yet, such as an item pushed to a later budget cycle or a contract that expires months out.
Each group shows up to 3 of its hottest signals. Empty groups are left out.
  4. Adds a next step for urgent signals. Each Act today signal gets one specific next step, such as “Reach out to the IT Director about the records-management replacement before the Nov 20 bid deadline.” If a signal doesn’t have enough detail for a specific step, it’s left without one.
  5. Posts to Slack. It posts only to the channel or DM you chose and never @-mentions anyone. If there are no new signals, it posts a one-line note instead. If the post fails, the digest shows up in the chat with a note on why.
The digest is built from the Feed of the person who sets it up, meaning the signals from the Bridges they’re subscribed to. When it posts to a team channel, the team sees that person’s Feed, not every Bridge in your organization. Before setting it up for a channel, subscribe to the Bridges your team cares about. See My feed.

What it needs

The daily schedule needs an AI tool that supports scheduled tasks. In Claude, they’re available on paid plans and run in the cloud, so your computer doesn’t need to be on. If your tool doesn’t support them, the skill tells you, and you can run it each morning with “Post today’s top Starbridge signals to Slack.”

Try it

Once the skill is added, set up your daily digest:
“Set up the Slack digest to post my top Starbridge signals to #sales-signals every weekday at 7am.”
Or run it on demand:
“Post today’s top Starbridge signals to Slack.”
“Send my feed digest to me as a Slack DM.”
The defaults are up to 3 signals per group at 7am on weekdays. To change them, say so when you set it up, for example “post up to 5 per group at 8am.”
